What is bank shot?
Bank shot is a basketball shooting technique that using the backboard as a deflecting tool that directs the ball into the rim.
When to use a bank shot?
Bank shot usually used when your are right under the rim. It is because more easier for you to bounce the ball using the backboard than to shot the ball direct into the rim. It is also better to use the bank shot when you are in the bank shot zone.
How to do a bank shot?
- Hold the ball high with your hands prepared to shot.
- Whether to take a jump or not is your choice, it is depends on the situation.
- Shot the ball with your strength adjusted so the the ball hits the board on the downward flight.
