Did you ever feel nervous before a match? Your hands felt cold, your body covered with sweat even if you didn’t do anything yet, or your heart was beating so fast that you can’t control it. That nervous started to influence your action, your passing was bad, your shooting wasn’t accurate, you couldn’t think clearly, and many other negative effects.

Actually, what is the cause of that nervous? I think many things can be the cause of that nervous, for instance: afraid of doing a mistake, don’t want to disappointed your teammates, and many others. Of course I don’t want to talk about the cause of that nervous. But I want to share couple of tricks to face that nervous.

The first thing that you have to know is, nervous, fear, and other feelings are normal. So we can’t eliminate those feelings, but we can face it and make it our own secret power.

So, these are couple of things that I usually do if I get nervous:

  1. Take a deep breath and release it slowly.
  2. Do a stretching, warm up, or any other activities to release your nervous.
  3. Don’t think about everything around you, just focus with your game.
  4. Just be yourself. Only you who can control yourself and do your own game.
  5. The last but not least, stay cool, calm, and confidence.

I know that every person have their own tricks to face their nervous. So, if you want to share your own tricks, just post a comment below.
